Strip...

Steaks, Seafood and Sushi...What, what were you thinking ::insert sneaky smirk here::!!

Yessss, only the hottest new singles playground in Atlanta's newest enclave ~ Atlantic Station!

I think the name is kind of a pun ~ Steak strips oh and the pole that runs through the centre of the restaurant, classy, hee hee!

If you are going for the food and the food alone the best time to visit would be lunch on a weekday, well at least before 6pm. Call ahead to make reservations all other times because you will wait, sometimes wait-times up to 2 - 3hrs, go figure!

Strip consists of two floors, the top floor has a deejay, a drinks bar, Sushi bar and a balcony that the drinks bar opens out to accommodate the smokers. So while you wait you can go upstairs and have a few drinks until you are buzzed or you can take a leisurely stroll around Atlantic station. There's also a drinks bar downstairs, several dining sections and a dining patio outside facing a quadrangle.

The food is great!! The steaks are fantastic; everything is à la carte so prepare your wallets!

Do have the lump crab cakes as an appetizer. I have not tried the Sushi there yet........what......shocking, haha but I hear that's great too!!

If you are into the liquor, Strip has an extensive supply of alcoholic beverages to whet your appetite expressed by the restaurant’s window that showcases the broad array of an assortment of bottles which can be viewed from the street whilst walking passed it. Don’t be afraid to come up with ingenious cocktail concoctions to try to trip up the bartenders with.

In the spirit of Lent, I ordered a to-die-for lobster sandwich, my date ordered the New York strip which by the oohs and aahs I heard coming from his side of table, it was delish!

Strip boasts a nice spacious loft that is almost always filled to capacity inside and out; it is also a great place to people watch, if that's your thing.

I think the prices are reasonable but just don't ask them for Perrier water.

On the whole, I would go back for the ambiance, the food, the people... oh hell, let's just say everything, it's a pretty cool place to be; Strip gets three winks.
